Firma Verhellen is a family-run contractor from Ronse, founded by Jorre Verhellen. What started with a craft background in earth, garden and demolition work grew into a full-scope civil contractor for private clients, businesses and public-sector clients.
Started small, with both feet in the ground.
Firma Verhellen was founded in 2019 as a limited company in Ronse, on the linguistic border between Flanders and Wallonia. From that strategic location in the Flemish Ardennes we serve clients in both regions — a geographical advantage that translates into fewer kilometres, shorter lines and local knowledge of the area.
The deliberate choice to remain specialised in earthworks, foundations and drainage — three trades that logically follow one another — allows us to deliver an entire site in-house. No juggling subcontractors, no waiting between disciplines.

A well-poured foundation or a correctly laid sewer is still a correct piece of work years later. We work precisely, including where no one is watching.

A site needs predictability. We communicate clearly about timing, costs and any changes — no surprises after the fact.

Flanders and Wallonia.
Our sites are spread across all of East and West Flanders, Flemish Brabant and Brussels, and into Hainaut deep in Wallonia. From Ronse and the Flemish Ardennes, via Brakel, Maarkedal, Zwalm and Oudenaarde, to Mons, Ath and Saint-Sauveur. On request we work throughout the country.
